Two years ago, I bought a digital camera and Oh, my goodness! I've taken almost 2,000 pictures since. My thirst for getting the most out of this marvelous invention which requires no film and allows me to alter the photos any way I please, sent me online in search of information. To my delight there are loads of sites devoted to this medium.

This is my favorite and it's updated weekly. Becoming a member (free of charge) gives you access to all the site has to offer including monthly contests where you can win all sorts of stuff, and online storage where you can upload and keep up to 50Mg of digitized photos. There are all sorts of reviews of relevant products from cameras to software, along with an evaluation of other photography-related websites.
Steves-digicams.com
This is my second most favorite place to visit every week. Get the latest breaking news on camera and accessory releases, plus detailed reviews featuring close-up images and specs. The User Review is a good way to see what ordinary people have to say about the equipment youre considering.

This bilingual (English / French) monthly digital photography webzine provides reviews of the latest consumer cameras to hit the market. There are articles focusing on topics like photo paper and add-on lens, as well as tips about taking specific types of photos. Their learning center helps you get started in digital imaging, and provides tips on scanning as well as a guide to different types of film for analog cameras.
