The finest specialties from the Lot region are just waiting for you: cassoulet campagnard (a type of stew combining kidney beans, goose, duck, mutton and pork) for four at 100F, or four drumsticks of confit de canard (duck, cooked and preserved in its own fat) at 95F. These dishes are also available in tins (Ets Michel Catusse “Sautel”) and often cost 20% less than the same items in other Parisian shops that concentrate on products from the southwest of France. Aux Ducs de Gasgone
According to the photos in the window, the Queen of England came to visit this little shop in person. Here too, you’ll find cassoulet, confit d’ oie or foie gras entier mi-cuit (144F for 170g). Hédiard
In 1854, François Hédiard opened his first shop in the Madeleine quartier of Paris, offering its residents products from all over the world. Since then, his name has become synonymous with quality and more than 250 shops bearing his it have been opened around the world including five in Paris. An enormous supermarket, located on the border of the 6th and 7th arrondissements and currently undergoing a face lift. Le Bon Marché’s food department offers you a tour around the world of food and drink: fresh produce, wine, spirits, cheese, cold meats, etc. Like most shops of this type, it also provides catering services. Petrossian
You’ll find every luxury product imaginable at this legendary shop in the heart of the 7th arrondissment, entirely decorated in wood... Come to this place for a taste of America. From root beer to Oreos, peanut butter and other specialties, you can buy goodies you’ll find nowhere else, this grocery store has been importing products from the States for the past decade.
